Hi, I’m Gina (she/her), and I’m here to support teens, young adults, and adults who feel deeply, think a lot, and sometimes struggle to make sense of it all. If you’re feeling anxious, navigating identity questions, or noticing patterns that leave you overwhelmed or misunderstood, I offer a space to slow down, get curious, and reconnect with yourself—on your terms.
My approach to therapy is warm, flexible, and collaborative. Whether you identify as neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, highly sensitive, or are simply trying to understand yourself more fully, I work with you to build insight and tools without pressure to “perform” or fit into anyone else’s mold.
My work is grounded in an understanding that when you’ve experienced overwhelm—whether through trauma, ongoing stress, or being in environments that didn’t honor your neurotype—it can shape the way you respond to the world. Maybe you find yourself shutting down when things get too loud, too fast, or too much. Maybe you’ve had meltdowns that leave you feeling ashamed or misunderstood. Or maybe you feel stuck in freeze mode—unable to act even when you want to. These are adaptive responses, not failures. Together, we’ll explore what your nervous system is trying to protect you from, and gently find ways to expand your capacity without overriding your experience.
I also approach therapy through a culturally responsive lens, which means I stay curious about the context you live in—your identity, background, community, and the ways they may shape what safety and healing look like for you. I won’t assume. Instead, I’ll listen closely, invite your feedback, and adjust the work so it actually works for you.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the foundation of much of my work. It helps you recognize patterns between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, especially when it comes to anxiety, OCD, or overthinking. Together, we’ll identify what’s fueling your distress and practice new tools that feel realistic and supportive.
Emotion Regulation Tools
If you often feel emotionally overwhelmed, shut down, or stuck in a loop, emotion regulation tools can help build awareness and give you more choices in how you respond. I’ll introduce strategies for identifying emotions earlier and responding in ways that align with your values and needs.
Mindfulness
I often incorporate simple, present-focused tools to help you notice what’s going on internally without getting swept away. This might include grounding exercises, sensory awareness, or breathing techniques, all adapted to your comfort level and preferences.
Strengths-Based, Culturally Sensitive Therapy
Your identity, culture, and lived experience are central to how we work together. I won’t ask you to fit into a model that doesn’t feel right. Instead, I’ll stay curious about what matters to you, adapt my approach accordingly, and make sure our work reflects your values, not someone else’s idea of progress.
